Alternators for Cub Cadet Outdoor Power Equipment

In 1960, International Harvester created a brand new line of premium small tractors.  This series was called IH Cub Cadet, built from parts and components of the older Farmall Cub tractors.  The IH Cub Cadet was the alternative to large, industrial grade tractors for rural homeowners who had large lawns and private grounds.  The Quiet Line series were the first Cub Cadet tractors to incorporate alternators versus the then-traditional starter generator.  Cub Cadet’s other technological innovations include their Syhchro-Steer four-wheel steering system and zero-turn riding mowers that feature the industry’s tightest turning radius.  In 1981, International Harvester sold their Cub Cadet brand to the MTD corporation, who has been the owner of the Cub Cadet brand ever since.
