Alternators for Ford Tractors & Agricultural Machines

In the early 20th century, the Ford Motor Company in America and in the United Kingdom produced and sold farm tractors under the Fordson name.  Fordson tractors, like the Ford Model T car, was a revolutionary design for both affordability and reliability.  Ford left the tractor business for a brief period of time but returned to the US market once again in 1939 using the Ford marque and a new replacement for the Fordson called the N-Series.  Ford continued to develop and produce new tractor models throughout the 40s all the way to 1975 including the 600/700/800/900 series (and revamped 601, 701, 801, and 901), the Dexta, New Major and Power Major, 2000 series, and the Ford 5000 Super Major.  In 1993, Ford sold their tractor business to Italian manufacturer Fiat’s agricultural division.
