Johnson Outboard Alternator

Alternators for Johnson Outboard Motors

Johnson Outboard Motors is a is a United States subsidiary of Bombardier, the Canadian parent company of Ski-Doo, Can-AM, Sea-Doo, as well as Evinrude Outboard Motors. The original Johnson company built inboard motors until a tornado destroyed the factory in 1913. Since then, the company relocated to South Bend, Indiana before settling in Waukegan, Illinois. After Bombardier acquired the Johnson Outboards brand from Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC) in 2001, Bombardier cancelled selling Johnson-branded outboard engines. In 2007, Bombardier moved all outboard sales to the Evinrude brand. Evinrude also archives and provides production information on vintage Johnson motors.
