Fenner Snow Plow Pumps

Stone Hydraulics was founded in 1968 by Herb Stone in Rockford, IL. Stone created and pioneered a compact hydraulic power unit incorporated the use of an electric motor. This concept became the interchangeable integrated-module hydraulic system. Simple yet powerful, this revolutionary design eliminated the need for complex and expensive power take-off pumps and lowered the cost for hydraulic applications requiring less horsepower. In 1988, England’s Fenner PLC purchased Stone Hydraulics and expanded the company across Europe and Asia. The new company, Fenner Stone, became Fenner Fluid Power which was then purchased by the SPX Corporation. SPX Corporation was founded in 1912 as the Piston Ring Company and was a one-time OEM parts manufacturer for Detroit’s largest automakers.
